What a joy it was to host Southern Ohio Chrysalis Girls' Flight #38 at Cornerstone, January 16-18. Thirty young ladies participated in the flight and it was evident from their testimonies that the three-day opportunity was an outstanding Christian experience! Each participant will now return to her home church challenged to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world through prayer, study and Christian action. Cornerstone is truly blessed to have an opportunity to host these Chrysalis weekends. Lives are changed; Christian leaders blossom as participants sense the love of God and come to realize that they have a responsibility to carry the light of Christ into the world.
Cornerstone generally hosts four Chrysalis flights per year, two for girls and two for boys. During the winter months the flights are always held over the Martin Luther King weekend (for girls) and the Presidents' Day weekend (for boys). These weekends are selected because a Chrysalis flight requires three days, and high schools are generally closed those two Mondays.
