A few common questions

What time are the services?

We have two excellent worship services. The traditional service is at 9:30 and the Contemporary service it at 11.

How do I find Cornerstone?

View directions and a map here.

I’m Not a Methodist…. Can I Still Attend?

It is our desire that Cornerstone Church would be a church for everyone that has a desire to have a relationship God. You do not have to come from a Methodist background or hold to any particular religious affiliation to attend services here. If you have a desire to have a relationship with God and experience His best in your life, we invite you to join us on the journey!

Where should I park?

We are blessed with a large parking lot right across the street from Cornerstone. Look for signs that say parking and drive on in.

What happens when I get there?

You will enter a large space called the Welcome Center. Look for the signs that say Worship Center and come on in. Our greeters will give you a bulletin and assist you in finding a seat.

What children's programs are available?

We offer full children’s programming for children birth through the sixth grade. Look for the sign in the Welcome Center that says children and walk through the doors. The rooms are easy to find or someone would be glad to assist you.

What do I do before the service starts?

If you arrive before the service starts, you will notice the worship center is filled with plenty of comfortable chairs.  There are no reserved seats so you may sit anywhere.  Many people will be greeting each other during this time.

What are the services like?

Services generally last one hour. Our worship services are a time of joyful worship and praise with a variety of music presented by our choirs and praise team.

What is the pastor's message like?

Pastor gives Biblically-based messages lasting about 25-30 minutes. The messages are timely and applicable to your daily life.

What do I wear?

Don’t worry about what to wear. The dress code at Cornerstone is about comfort.  A t-shirt and jeans are just as acceptable as a shirt and tie. We want you to be comfortable. We are more concerned with meeting your needs than what you wear. Most people will dress in casual weekend attire, so dress how you feel comfortable and you’ll fit right in.

Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?

No.  We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find Cornerstone to be a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest. During the offering time, if you have filled out the connect card, we will ask you to drop it in the offering plate.

What happens after the service?

You can visit the Information Booth to find more information on our ministries and upcoming events. Someone will be there to answer any questions.

Let us know how we can serve you better, and we hope to meet you this Sunday!
